Product Manager CCIE Security Program
Natalie is a product manager with the CCIE program at Cisco Systems, Inc., where she manages exam content for the CCIE Security track. Prior to this role Natalie worked in security related areas within Cisco as a field sales specialist, product manager and technical lead in the area of IPsec VPNs. Natalie has contributed at the standards level during the development of IKE and IKEv2 and been involved with various certification programs for Cisco VPN based products, and been a contributor at Cisco Live both in the US and her native Australia.
Natalie has been with Cisco almost 15 years and currently resides in Seattle where she plays ice hockey and dabbles in real estate and house flipping in her spare time.
Program Manager, Cisco Security Research and Operations
Michael Adler is currently the program manager in the Applied Intelligence team within Cisco’s Security Research and Operations (SR&O). Michael has extensive experience providing cross-functional leadership to drive high-value initiatives throughout the product life cycle at core business and technical levels. His responsibilities span product development and quality as well as customer interaction and vendor management. In his role, Michael is technical liaison on network security services and intellectual property. Michael also serves as product manager for Cisco’s IntelliShield Alert Manager Service.
Michael’s previous roles have included program management in Cisco’s engineering organization responsible for IOS feature development specializing in High Availability as well as IOS release deployment. Michael was also a project management consultant to the Cisco Services IT organization.
Prior to joining Cisco, Michael held project management and systems engineering roles with Hewlett Packard and Apple Computer.
Michael holds a BS in Computer Science from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, MS in Management from University of Southern California and PMP certification with the Project Management Institute. Cisco certifications include CCNP Security, CCNA Voice, CCNA Wireless and CCDA.
Training and Development Director
With more than 15 years of communications networking experience, Fred Weiller is currently Director of Marketing for Learning@Cisco. Talent management is a strategic aspect of corporate plans, and Fred plays a leadership role in defining the portfolio and marketing strategy for Cisco.
Fred previously led marketing for Cisco's market-leading Catalyst Switching portfolio, contributing to its success in 2006 and 2007.
Fred's vast career spans across sales and marketing functions at major networking and telecommunication companies, as well as startups, in Europe and the United States. A widely respected networking professional often quoted in the press, Fred has been invited to speak at conferences such as RSA Security, VoiceCon, or US Government Technology Conference. He also taught network security classes at the US Government Technology Conference in Austin and Sacramento.
