Topic: Big Judgment in an Era of Big Data

Abstract:
"Big data" is fast becoming a reality as information volumes grow by 60% annually and 36% of all work time is devoted to information collection and analysis.  Executives around the world are realizing that we have entered a new era in decision-making. The implications of Big Data present opportunities and challenges for all service industries. Whether you're involved in consulting opportunities to help clients make sense of Big Data, putting processes in place to collect more data … or if you're on the engineering/construction side collecting data and subscribing to services that track wage and materials pricing trends,  Big Data can lead to big potential and smarter decisions.
