Jagadish Bandhole is a proven leader and a successful entrepreneur in the technology industry. He is currently the Founder, CEO and Chairman of Fonemine, Inc. focused on driving the next wave of innovation in the wireless telecommunications industry through global enablement of new cost-effective interactive telephone-optimized data services. His area of expertise is in his extensive, pragmatic and hands-on approach to innovation in building successful software businesses that serve the needs of both enterprise customers and consumers alike. In addition to Fonemine, Inc., Jagadish also helped co-found and currently serves on the board of EverGrid, Inc. a venture funded company in the high performance and fault tolerant computing software marketplace.

Previously, Jagadish served as the Vice President and GM at VERITAS Software, one of top 10 software companies in the world. At VERITAS, he was responsible for development, marketing and sales of VERITAS’ emerging products portfolio of automation and convergent management solutions for servers, storage and applications. While at VERITAS, he was the primary spokesperson for all emerging products tasked with engaging CXOs for Fortune 500 companies, analysts and press. He drove many multi-million dollar deals working closely with the global enterprise sales organization. He has also been the key driver in the IT industry for evolving new IT management paradigms such as Utility Computing and Web Services. Jagadish is actively involved in computing industry standards initiatives and is regularly featured as a keynote speaker in prestigious conferences and entrepreneurship seminars. Prior to VERITAS, he was the Founder and CEO of Jareva Technologies, a venture-funded Enterprise Software Company. At Jareva, from 2000-2003, Jagadish successfully created and pioneered a new IT market segment centered around server and application provisioning thus shaping the requirements of the on-demand and utility computing. He successfully built Jareva during the tough recession years into a market leader, raising over $20M in venture capital, in multiple rounds, and eventually merging the company with VERITAS in a highly successful deal valued at over USD $70M cash plus stock.

Previous to founding Jareva, Jagadish started and led an E-Services start-up within Hewlett Packard. Jagadish has held several leadership positions in engineering and engineering management. His educational background includes an MS in Computer Science from Indiana University, and a BS in Computer Science from IT-BHU, India. His technical expertise spans computer architecture, compilers and programming languages. He was an early member and a key contributor to the design and development of the HP-Intel 64-bit EPIC architecture and associated software tool chain. Jagadish holds several patents in distributed systems and server automation techniques.

Jagadish frequently mentors and advises entrepreneurs and start-up companies in Silicon Valley sharing his experiences and helping executives build highly effective businesses. He is a charter member at the well-known global entrepreneurial network TiE (The IndUS Entrepreneurs).
