Erik Schmidt

Erik Schmidt is a senior technology expert who excels in developing creative solutions to help organizations reach their IT goals, no matter what they may be. Work has taken him from his earnest beginnings on a Commodore 64 in the early 1980’s to architecting, growing and supporting an enterprise-wide Active Directory and Exchange environment for the University of Florida.

With a degree in Business Administration and Management from Florida Tech in 1995, an MCSE certification with specialization in Exchange and over 20 years of hands-on IT experience, Mr. Schmidt is a well-rounded professional who seamlessly blends leadership, motivation and technical skills. One of his current responsibilities is management of the Microsoft Windows Vista Technology Adoption Program at the University of Florida, making him an expert with Vista and Microsoft volume licensing.
