Mr. Rothman joined EMA in 1998. Mr. Rothman has spent his entire career working in the health care field since graduating from Temple University with an MBA in Risk Management in 1991. His core competencies include CPM, BPM and Dashboards, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Complete Data Warehousing Development Cycle, Data Modeling, ETL, Project Management, Business System Development, Health Care Reporting, Financial Reporting, Physician Practice Management and Billing Operations, Hospital Billing Operations and Physician EMR development.
Over the last seven years, Jonathan has been the primary architect for EMA's data management (DM) and business intelligence (BI) strategies and the developer and manager of the Emergency Medicine Analysis and Reporting System (WEBMARS) data warehouse project, which houses clinical, operational, financial and satisfaction data for over 8 million emergency department (ED) patient encounters. Mr. Rothman has successfully evolved EMA's DM and BI infrastructure from generalized metric reporting to web based EPM. He has been quoted about his experiences developing DM and BI infrastructure in a health care environment by numerous national publications including DMReview, InfoWorld, Computerworld.com, eWeek, Nursezone.com, Infoweek, Intelligent Enterprise and Healthcare Informatics. Most recently Jonathan received the Business Objects 2005 BI Visionary Award and was a 2005 finalist - Intelligent Enterprise Award for Innovation in BI.
