Joe Bernik is an information security specialist with more than 15 years of experience in financial and government institutions. As CISO and head of the America's Technology Risk Management group for LaSalle Bank, a subsidiary of ABN AMRO. Mr. Bernik is charged with deploying a security model to identify and remediate the technology risk faced by ABN AMRO throughout its many business units.

Prior to ABN AMRO, he most recently was an Information Risk Manager with Deutsche Bank AG Americas, directing Deutsche Bank Global Markets business with regard to security over their applications and environment. He previously was a manager with KPMG in Technology Risk Management and a civilian security specialist for the U.S. Army. His certifications include the CISA, CISSP and CISM. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington.
