Joe brings more than a decade of engineering, product management, business development, and customer support experience to Data Mobility Group. He is responsible for all areas of the firm's business including managing existing client relationships, overseeing new business development efforts, and setting the overall tone and direction of the company. Joe's pleasant demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and focus on customer satisfaction enable him to build long and lasting relationships. His belief is simple: "Credibility and respect come from action, not words."

In addition, Joe is responsible for directing Data Mobility Group's research. Since 2002, his real-world information management experience and thought leadership positioned Data Mobility Group as the first storage industry analyst firm to blend storage and information management expertise under one roof. In addition to information management expertise, Joe possesses an in-depth understanding of complex information asset production environments with skills in 3D modeling, animation, publishing, graphics editing, video composition, web design, and web application development.

Joe began his career as a systems software engineer at Lockheed Martin, the world's second largest aerospace and defense firm, and later worked on General Dynamics e-learning system for military and commecrial training. He was also a key contributor to the early-stage growth of three successful enterprise content/information management companies in the defense (TEC), healthcare (InLight), and publishing (OpenPages) industries. Prior to Data Mobility Group, Joe was Business Development Director for research firm Illuminata.

Joe studied Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Economics, and Human Factors Engineering at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is a member of SNIA and ARMA International, and has judged the 2005, 2006 and now the 2007 Codie Awards for Best Storage Solution, Best Document Management Solution, and Best Content Management Solution.
