Jason Oliver
Vice President
North American Partners Group
Xerox

Jason Oliver is vice president of Channel Development for the Xerox North American Partners Group, and is based out of Wilsonville, Oregon. In this role, he focuses on the development of all go-to-market strategies, programs, and field personnel required for the success of this new business.

Appointed to this position in January, 2008, Oliver leads an emerging channel expansion initiative for Xerox. His primary objective is to expand the company's distribution capacity for a wide range of products and solutions through value added resellers. Many of these products and solutions are being brought through indirect channels for the first time.

Oliver joined Xerox in August of 1998 as an Account Manager in Irvine, CA. He spent 6 years in California in various field sales and sales management positions. In 2004, he moved to Wilsonville, OR where he focused on strategy and business development.

After two years of working directly for Jerry Farmer, senior vice president of the North American Reseller Sales, Oliver took on the endeavor of launching a true start-up business and began staffing teams of business advisors and solutions specialists across the country. These individuals are subject matter experts in the areas of business development, consulting, and true solution-led sales.

Oliver believes that, for his group to be successful, they must have the ability to view the market through the lens of a channel partner. This approach has brought life to programs like Page Pack and IT Advantage, which both pride themselves on having fantastic channel centered business models. These programs provide great margin and ongoing revenue annuities, which are attributes that all partners are seeking in today's marketplace.

Oliver Graduated Magna cum Laude from UC Berkeley in 1998. Primary fields of study were Organizational Behavior, Industrial Psychology, and Sociology of the Workplace. His thesis examined successful sales methodologies. Oliver also attended the Leading Organizational Change program at the Stanford Business School. He has attended six President's clubs, and is a Lean Six Sigma certified Green Belt.

Oliver resides in West Linn, Oregon, with his wife Emily and two children.
