As criminals ramp up the attack pressure, how can businesses add both layers and sophistication to their messaging defenses? This panel will explore the latest advances in messaging defenses. We’ll talk about anti-virus, anti-spam, and anti-phishing security countermeasures on endpoints, network infrastructures, and “out in the cloud” as managed services. We’ll investigate the advantages and disadvantages of new techniques such as reputation monitoring in an era of rampant bot networks. We’ll also look at ways that companies can extend their e-mail monitoring and defenses to cover new communications channels such as instant messaging.
