Brian is currently the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Unisys internal IT organization. He is responsible for setting the enterprise architecture and direction for Unisys internal systems. He is also responsible for the successful implementation of Unisys strategic program solutions for internal use as best practice examples for our clients.

Prior to his current role, Brian was the Global Banking Executive and CTO of the Unisys Global Financial Services organization. He had global responsibility for providing thought leadership for new banking and payment programs and strategies, overseeing solution management operations, managing financial solutions development, and providing senior level consulting delivery skills for our top clients. He was also responsible for the thought leadership and implementation of the 3D Blueprinting program and methodology globally. Prior to that role, he was responsible for establishing and overseeing the consulting sales, delivery, and thought leadership for Unisys Customer Relationship Management practice covering Financial Services in North America and all industries in Latin America. He provides consulting services regarding business transformation using business blueprinting techniques and tools. His areas of expertise are business development, practice management, project management, architecture development, and implementation management.

Prior to his positions at Unisys, Mr. Ott held management and IT leadership positions at Bearingpoint (KPMG), IBM Global Services, Barnett and Society Banks, TRW, and in the US Marine Corps. In these roles he focused on the delivery of strategic and tactical business consulting, technical solutions consulting and implementation, technology integration, process measurement and management, business process redesign, and overall enterprise architecture definition and implementation.

Mr. Ott has been the featured speaker at many industry events, subject matter included Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), strategic transformation approaches, strategic enterprise technology architecture, and business process redesign, business blueprinting, and developing roadmaps for successful business transformation. Published and quoted in many industry magazines and periodicals such as Bank Systems and Technology, CRM Strategies, InfoWorld, E-Week, and Harvard Business Review.
