Jack Funchion is a Senior Project Manager with Align Communications based in New York and London.  He is an accomplished Information Technology executive with over 20 years experience in Consulting, Project Management, Network Design, Network Implementation, Network Management Systems, Network Operations and Data Center Operations.  He has spent his career serving the technology infrastructure needs of large global organizations.   Mr. Funchion has a proven track record of completing complex technical engagements requiring extensive experience in the critical skills of project leadership, networking technology, server operating systems, and data center operations.  Jack is currently focused on helping clients address the power and cooling challenges presented by explosive growth in computing demand and the drive to higher-density servers in corporate data centers.   Jack and Align Communications have developed a set of processes and a comprehensive toolkit of technology solutions that allow our customers to gain control of the growth in their data centers.  Using technologies such as server virtualization, technology asset management, automated application dependency discovery, and computational fluid dynamics, we are helping our clients develop a clear understanding of their current environments, map a plan for the future, and ensure that their technology infrastructure can grow to meet business requirements.  Jack is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, seminars and web-casts.
