Security Showdown with Michael J. Miller

and Zone Labs, Miller claimed that these companies weren't
living up to their promises of protecting their customers'
PCs--and he explained how they could do better. In this panel,
Miller will face the companies he criticized. Are security
vendors failing us? Or do they provide critical services that
you can't do without? Find out in this exciting panel discussion.

Laura Yecies, VP and GM, ZoneLabs; Enrique Salem, GM, Consumer,

Mobilizing Your Business Applications
It's not enough to put a handheld into the briefcase of every manager--or a Treo in the pocket of every sales rep.
You need to get your business applications ready to work with
these and other mobile devices. Start with your email server:
How can you ensure that employees get the latest mail, when
they need it, and that it's seamlessly synchronized with their
desktop mail? Now consider calendaring, document sharing,
customer relationship management and sales force automation--which
mobile applications show the best ROI? Which are the least
complex to implement? How do you choose vendors and technologies
for mobility projects? We'll tackle all these issues, so you'll
come away from this panel smarter about how to mobilize your
own critical business apps.
Speakers: Rick Osterloh, VP of Products, Good Technology; Sanjay Kamble, Vice President, Visto; Jack Gold, Founder and Principal Analyst; J. Gold Associates
Moderator: Dylan Tweney, Editorial Director, Ziff Davis Media. |
