FAQ's

  1. Do I need to pay for the show and where do I go on August 23rd and 24th?
The PCMagCast Virtual Security and Mobility Tradeshow is offered FREE to all registrants, so anyone interested in attending the tradeshow or viewing any of our educational panels is welcome FREE of charge.

Since this is a virtual tradeshow, the only place you need to go is in front of your computer! We will be sending you updates and a “Success Kit” to walk you through all our best known practices to ensure that your online experience in our tradeshow is the best possible.

  2. What happens if I miss the live tradeshow? Is there any way to still access the show?
If you should happen to miss the show on August 23rd and 24th, you will be able to access the platform and its recorded content on demand. For any registrants unable to attend, we will be sending a follow up email after the show inviting you to view the archived show at your leisure for up to 3 months. All access information will be sent to you via email and all you will need to do is link to the tradeshow through the email. You will also be able to go to www.pcmagcast.com and we will post a link for the tradeshow there for your convenience. You will only need to use your same username and password that you used to register initially for the show.

  3. What are the minimum requirements from my computer that I will need to participate?
To interact with the online show requires a Windows PC or Mac (200MHz or faster, with at least 64MB of RAM, a 16-bit sound card, and a 16-bit color display) with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Firefox 1.5. Mac users must use Firefox 1.5. Macromedia Flash Player 8 is also required. We highly recommend that you have high speed Internet access (Cable, DSL, Network). To view presentations, you will also need to have a media player installed: Either Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 or higher, or RealPlayer 10 / RealOne. Pop-up blockers must be disabled, and you should enable cookies and JavaScript. On entering the show, a system check is run which will identify PC requirements that need to be addressed to interact with the online show.
