Lauren Bigelow Lauren Bigelow comes to WeeWorld with a successful record envisioning and producing wireless and Web products. Most recently Lauren was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Mobot, where she launched groundbreaking mobile visual search promotions with Warner Brothers Music Group, Starbucks and ColorZip (Japan). Mobot was successfully acquired by NeoMedia.
Prior, Lauren was Vice President of Product Management at Lycos where she led the community and blogging sites including Tripod and Angelfire. Back in mobile mode, Lauren was VP of Marketing for SkyGo (purchased by Enpocket). There she led the development of one of the first mobile advertising platforms, and pioneered wireless marketing in the US, Japan and HongKong, and worked with top US brands including MTV, Procter & Gamble and ESPN.
Lauren launched her career first at Houghton Mifflin Company, the venerable US publisher where she founded the award-winning Education Place, then at Cybersmith where she pioneered a gaming cyber café chain, and finally, during her portal period, at AltaVista where she was responsible for content development.
Lauren holds a B.S. from Tufts University in Massachusetts and was once voted one of the "Top 25 Most Wired Women in Boston." Her husband and two children wonder what life would be like if she ever held a job and her kids were not the 'target demographic'. When not building companies she can be found riding through New England on her horse and competing on the soccer field. Her favorite WeeMee accessory is the soccer ball, that is until the horse is ready.
