Shannon Stairhime

Shannon Stairhime is the Research Editor at the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), and as such is the official juggler of all things research, including WOMMA's Case Studies Library (http://www.womma.org/casestudy), where WOMMA member companies can showcase their best word of mouth marketing work.

Shannon has been walking a tightrope between her creative and analytical sides for as long as she can remember. Her education (a B.A. in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago) leaned toward the creative, but much of her journalistic and editorial endeavors veered off in a different direction. Shannon has written for a variety of business and cultural publications, including Dinero Magazine and Big Idea. Most recently, Shannon was the Associate Editor at RFL Communications where she received a full immersion into the (fascinating) market research industry. Shannon is bringing both her creative and research-driven experiences to bear on her work at WOMMA, and is thrilled to have found a place where the two sides can comfortably co-exist.
